Jason Stroming is the
president and owner of Advanced Career Resources and a member of the
National Résumé Writers' Association. He is a 10-year veteran
of the staffing industry, with a background in psychology, and has helped
countless people land the jobs they want. From entry-level receptionists and
data entry clerks, right on up to senior Vice Presidents earning six-figure
incomes, Jason has helped people from all career levels and backgrounds. He has
worked with such clients as MTV, Saatchi & Saatchi, Merril Lynch, AFTRA,
CitiBank, The American Kennel Club, Bear Stearns, and many others. Even though
the staffing industry is usually seen as a heartless industry more interested in
the client's needs than the applicant's, Jason has always taken a more
"person-centered" approach to career counseling. He would often go
above and beyond what his supervisors required of him, to make sure that each
and every candidate was personally cared for. Sensing that the staffing industry
really was more interested in the client rather than the job candidate and
feeling hindered, Jason left the staffing world in 2004 to start Advanced Career
Resources, so he could focus 100% of his energy on what he enjoyed doing the
most: helping the job-seeker.
